Simon Rix selected as Lib Dem Parliamentary Candidate for 2015 General Election

Truro and Falmouth Liberal Democrats have selected Simon Rix as their Prospective Parliamentary Candidate. The General Election in 2015 will be closely fought and we expect to win back the seat from the Conservatives who only just won in 2010 and who hold it with a very small majority.
Simon is a business consultant and lives with his family in mid-Cornwall. He is 42 years old, a married father of two young children and was previously head of public engagement at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust at Treliske.
Simon is the chairman of Cornwall Council's influential back-bench Health and Adult Care Portfolio Advisory Committee.
